Live Selection in Resident Evil 1[]
Do the questions in Resident Evil 1, for example if Chris should take Rebecca with him or not, count as Live Selections? There is no time limit for answering those questions, but the answers still affect the story. If yes, I would like to write another entry about them here. Madame Chichi 10:05, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
- The choices in RE1 involving Rebecca and Barry are very similar to the Live Selections. However, the term itself is used only in Resident Evil 3 and the time limit imposed is what defines it. In RE1, the choices simply pause the game until you make a decision; much like the "Would you like to pick up the X?" prompts given in the inventory. Real-time decisions ramp up the tension for the player in RE3 because things are still happening in slow-motion. So, no I don't think so.* Gimpy Tyrant (talk) 05:58, November 17, 2012 (UTC)
