The Underground Statue Room is an area of the Courtyard.
The small room is composed of stone corridor. In the 2002 Remake of the original Resident Evil, the room have been added with flaming torches that brighten up the room, two statues of goddesses, and a small panel that rotates.
Upon stepping the panel, a small shutter will open to reveal a Doom book that contain a Wolf Medal. However the shutter immediately close after Chris or Jill start running toward it. An eagle statue on the right side of the wall can be move and placed onto the panel to keep the shutter open. To move it out from the wall however require the Hexagonal Crank.
In Remake, the shutter contain a Cylinder which can be combine with the shaft. To open the shutter however, the statue of the goddess must be placed onto the hollow space, facing front of the room. The statue can be move into the moving wall (Using the Hexagonal Crank) where it can be push toward the outside. Then, the statue can be rotate facing toward the right direction using the panel located at the center of the room on the floor.
