Underground passage 1 (地下通路① Chika tsūro ②)[1] is an area of the Spencer Mansion's basement.
Description
It is an underground passage of the mansion, lit by dim fixtures on the walls. There is a fork after the first turn; one path leads to a dead end and the other to the second passage entry.
In the 2002 Remake, the cable wiring can be seen, there are scratches and cracks all over the walls, and there is a pile of cardboard boxes at the dead end, one of which contains the shell of a molting web spinner.

Two zombies shambling about this passage. A cache of shotgun shells can be found on the floor towards the dead end.
In the Director's Cut version, two Hunters are found instead of the zombies.
2002
In Remake, two web spinners can be found in the passage.
