The United States Secret Service (USSS) is a government law enforcement agency in the United States of America divided between special agents and the Uniformed Division. Although part of the USSS is known for handling cases of severe counterfeiting and fraud, the Secret Service is probably most notable for being in the role of guardianship. Secret Service agents are assigned to protect former and current national leaders, as well as their families, and other officials.
