Hey guys, Forerunner here. I'm bringing to you a "Staff Blog", which I hope to make a weekly occurrence where I or another member of the Administration give you a summation of what's been going on in the past week, and what we plan to do in future. Don't forget to respond in the comments section.

Notable new articlesEdit

Below are new articles constructed over the past week.

Site updatesEdit

Top 10 List

An example of a Top 10 List

We've added "Top 10 Lists" as a feature for the wiki to get users more social. The flagship of this feature is "Top 10 Games You Probably Didn't Play". You can make your own lists, here.

We're also expanding our articles on Resident Evil Zero, and I offer personal thanks to ParallelTraveler and 81.198.11.20 for their work in adding pictures.

Future updates pollEdit

AchievementsEdit

One of the ways we could increase user activity is to re-introduce the Achievements system. With an Achievements system, users would be more interested in improving articles if they felt there was some sort of reward for it. This system was deactived months ago, however in response to minor cases of abuse which culminated in a user making 130 edits to an article within a few hours to add in a sentence (character by character) that was ultimately reverted due to being unnecessary.

Acknowledging pretty dumb instances of abuse, would you like to see the Achievements make a return?

Article CommentsEdit

Another way of increasing activity is to activate the 'Article Comments' feature. This will replace talkpages for articles with a comments section similar to blog and forum pages'. The benefit to this is that a user can quickly post a question about the content of a page (e.g. questioning the accuracy of a statement) and another user noticing the issue as a result and fixing it. The downside to Article Comments is that the simplified commenting system may draw in unnecessary comments more so than on talk pages (remember that they're for debating the article's content, not a forum thread.

Would you be more likely to join in with helping out on articles if we replaced talkpages with the Article Comment feature?
