I was browsing the Talk:Resident Evil: Revelations page, where someone mentioned a Rewind Theater video on RE: Revelations that offered some good insight and new theories to the upcoming game. Naturally, I went to check it out.
The video is basically a breakdown of the Revelations trailer shot by shot, while two commentators point out significant aspects of each frame. Things one may not notice when watching the trailer in real time.
I found it interesting and it did give some food for thought, but what really gave me pause was when I was skimming through the viewer comments and someone mentioned the possibility that HUNK could be a Wesker child from Project W.

There’s been a lot of talk about RE: Revelations and possible storylines for RE6 and it got me thinking. You know what I’d like to see? A complete overhaul of the games released before RE4 (main series only).
Seriously, could you imagine playing your favourite old school RE games with the mechanics employed in RE4 & RE5? Over-the-shoulder views, auto-save features, NINE inventory spaces…

Filling out my user page has made me rather nostalgic, prompting me to replay RE.
Since my GameCube’s buried somewhere in the crawlspace under the basement stairs (along with my NES, PS and PS2) collecting dust, I actually went out and bought the Wii version of the game.
It’s the Remake, of course, but I kind of wish I still had the original game. It’d be worth digging up the old PlayStation just to see that god awful live action sequence I seem to love for no other reason than the fact I enjoy watching crap. That and Barry’s awkward delivery of dialogue made the game for me.
