    Here is another blog post that I felt would be inappropriate on the wiki at large. While there is a Resident Evil 1.5 article and other beta materials, creating exclusive room articles is a slippery slope for a number of reasons. Therefore, this blog post should be seen as a collection of would-be articles for the "1.5" prototype build of Resident Evil 2.

    I didn't think it was totally appropriate to make an article for this, but I felt the need to share. I was playing through the leaked Beta 2 today and when I got to the Panel Room in the "B" scenario, I found a file waiting for me instead of the usual F. Aid Spray. There were a lot of peculiar things in the playthrough, but this was the most unique in my opinion. Here's a transcription with screenshots provided below:

    This guide is meant to be a resource for text characters used in NTSC copies of Resident Evil 2. Most images are from the GameCube release, with some from the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation releases.

    The focus of this guide is transcribing Japanese characters (hirigana, katakana, and kanji) and finding accurate hex codes for text colors. English characters--such as the English alphabet, punctuation marks, and numbers--can be seen within the images provided.

    The main (standard) font used in Resident Evil 2 for subtitles, environment examines, menu text, and the save/load screen. This font set originated in the prototype of RE2 (before being modified for the final release
