As was to be expected, new demo gameplay arose during this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. Leon, Chris, and Jake were all shown in a new level with new enemies and boss battles. The options menu seems to be more expansive, there seems to be an actual PAUSE, and furthermore the screen-tearing issue in the current demo has been worked on substantially. It was stated flat-out that what was shown at Comic-Con was new build from what the demo is (the demo that was shown at E3, the same one XBox 360 Dragon's Dogma users got, and the same one others will get in September).
During the course of the interview with producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi (translated by Miguel Corti), it was stated that there is no current intention to release the demo but however, they might be able to do something if there is enough fan demand for it.
So, I say we demand it. Nicely. This new demo is a drastically more appropriate representation of what can be expected from the game.
If you care to see this new demo, then please sign this petition and maybe Capcom will listen. And please, no bickering console wars, or any "HORROR IS DEAD" bullcrap comments. If you don't like the game, then you really have no business reading this. Save it for more appropriate places.
