WildStorm was a comics book publisher and later DC subsidiary, which was in operation from 1992 to 2010. Over its run, it published four series based on the Resident Evil franchise:
- Resident Evil: The Official Comic Magazine (5 issues)
- Resident Evil: Fire and Ice (4 issues)
- Resident Evil Code: Veronica (4 issues)
- Resident Evil (6 issues).
The Official Comic Magazine was an anthological series which had a mixture of single-issue plots and interconnected story arcs. Fire and Ice had a fixed plot, and sequeled Official Comic Magazine, featuring several characters from the earlier series (including characters introduced in the final issue). Code: Veronica was a series of four graphic novels which were localizations of a manhua by Tinhangse Publishing, BIOHAZARD CODE: Veronica, with the dialogue being largely taken directly from the game. Resident Evil, the final series, was released in 2009 as a tie-in to Resident Evil 5, and marketed itself as a prequel, despite having no relation to the game.
