The X-ray room (レントゲン室 Rentogen-shitsu?)[1] is an area of the Arklay Laboratory. It is otherwise known as "Researcher's private room A" (研究員個室A Kenkyū-in koshitsu A?)[2]

Description

A sink with glass can be seen nearby the switch. There's also a picture on the right side of the room with something written on it. In Remake, the picture has been replace with various of X-ray photograph.

Guide

In the original Resident Evil, upon entry the room is dark. A light switch on the right hand side can be switch on to see the room clearly. A file can be found on the desk at the left side that contains the password for the computer inside the Laboratory, where as a clip on the wooden crate. The picture on the right wall appears to have something written in it, if the X-ray vision is switched on, it reveal the words "TREE", "APPLE", "MAN" and "WOMAN". The four password at the file can be translated here, and it say "MOLE".

In the 2002 Remake, this room is devoted to the X-ray puzzle.
