Yoshihiro Ono (小野義徳 Ono Yoshinori?) is a Japanese artist and producer. Until September 2020 he worked for Capcom, where he was known for his work in tournament fighters.

Career[]

Ono's early career was built around the company's thriving arcade industry of the early 1990s, where he was responsible for sound effects and music in the Street Fighter titles among others. At the end of the decade he became a company producer and became more focused on console games, while also tackling the ad campaigns for games, such as Studio 4's Dino Crisis 2, Studio 3's Resident Evil Survivor,[1] and also doing character designs for Studio 1's Resident Evil Outbreak.[2] He is known to have worked on Studio 3's Resident Evil 0 when it was retooled for the GameCube.[3]

By the mid-2000s, Ono became the senior producer responsible for the Street Fighter titles in a studio that evolved into Division 2.
